There is plenty of parking around NRG Park. You can see a detailed map of all of their lots HERE. All lots will be for pay. The pick up and drop off area for fans taking taxis or other ride shares will be in the Green Lot. Handicap accessible parking is permitted with a valid hangtag in the Green/Westridge Lot.
No. Once you have entered the venue each day, you will not be allowed to leave and come back in. Please plan accordingly.
This is an all ages event. All attendees are required to purchase a full price ticket regardless of age.
No. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on ticket sales. All artists and scheduled performance times are subject to change. Festival is outdoors and is rain or shine.
Houston Open Air is an outdoor event and is held rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges will be given for weather. In the event of rain, we advise you wear ponchos, and rain boots.

We strongly encourage you to not bring bags of any sort. If you must bring a bag, please abide by the following:
- Small purse or hand-held clutch (maximum size: 4.5” x 6.5”)
- A small or medium sized clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag (maximum size: 12” x 6” x 12”)
- A clear one-gallon re-sealeable zip top bag (maximum is freezer size: 10” x 12” x 2”)

The on-site Box Office will be located at the south west corner of NRG Park’s Yellow lot; beside the main entrance to the festival. Hours are: Saturday from 9:30am to 10:00pm and Sunday from 9:30am to 9:00pm
Yes. We are working with local food trucks, restaurants, caterers, and vendors to provide top-notch food, drinks, and deliciousness for all. A variety of beverages (including liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic) will be served all over the festival grounds as well in the General Admission and VIP areas.
Yes, there will be multiple ATMs inside the venue.
Yes. Beer, wine and mixed drinks will be sold to those with a valid ID.
VIP passes include:
- VIP entrance lanes into venue
- Access to VIP lounge area featuring dedicated bar, beverage and food options (all items are for additional purchase)
- VIP-only viewing areas of Main Stages (seated and standing areas)
- Private restroom facilities
- A VIP-only commemorative laminate
Yes, children under the age of five (who have a General Admission ticket) are allowed into the VIP area with an adult who has paid for VIP.

No, we are not offering any camping or overnight parking at the show.
The venue is accessible and there will be a special viewing area at the main stages for those with mobility limitations. The festival is held outdoors in a park. There will be natural terrain to travel over and if it rains it could become muddy. There are sometimes great distances between stages. Our on-site Access Center services include, but are not limited to Answers to questions specific to the Access Program, Information relevant to our patrons with disabilities, Programming information in Braille for reference, Power outlet for recharging power wheelchairs, Access to a festival map that identifies the viewing areas for patrons with mobility limitations (plus one companion). Please note that special access viewing areas have limited capacity and are only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
ADA Wristband Program Visit the Access Center for information on our wristband program. If you have mobility impairments you can request a specially colored wristband at the Access Center. This wristband is to show our team that you (plus one companion) are eligible to enter the wheelchair platform areas. Note: the wristband does NOT guarantee a spot in these areas. These areas have a limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The wristband is non-transferable.
Patrons with Mobility Limitations
We do not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please plan ahead and bring attendants if needed. In addition, the festival does not provide wheelchairs for rent or loan. Please make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed. Wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and three or four-wheeled scooters are allowed for use by Patrons with mobility disabilities. For safety reasons, requests to use other power-driven mobility devices will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Accessible portalets are available at the ends of each row of restrooms throughout the park.
Special Dietary Needs
Outside food and drink (except for bottled water) is not allowed in the festival, but if a patron has special medical dietary restrictions, items will be allowed if accompanied by a doctor’s note. You will be asked to present your doctor’s note to security upon entry to the festival.
A patron requiring insulin is allowed to bring his or her medically necessary materials and medications provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name. Out of concern for the festival staff and volunteers who handle the trash, please dispose of your medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal located at the medical tent (see public map for exact location). Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins at the festival.
Service Animals at Festival
Animals and pets are not allowed within the festival grounds. Service animal inquiries can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
